About Our Greenhouse

Since 1964 Nachtigall’s has been providing western South Dakota with flowering bedding plants, vegetable plants, perennials, and roses to the community. Our goal is to provide the best quality plants for the area that we live in.
 

In the early 1960’s, Frank and Evelyn Nachtigall started Nachtigall’s Greenhouse to help supplement their income. Sidney Nachtigall, son of Frank and Evelyn, became involved in the greenhouse at the early age of 9 and has been in charge since the 1970’s.  Sidney, with the support of his wife Jenifer, son Matthew, and his devoted employees, supply the community with the best horticultural plant products.  Nachtigall’s is still located on 2011 South Valley Drive.
